Terms of use
1. Who runs the game
The OneTouch GP game at onetouchgp.com (“the game”) is run by Łukasz Śpiewak, Toruń, Poland (“we”). Contact: contact@onetouchgp.com.
These terms set the rules for using the game, including the rules for providing services electronically. By playing, you accept these terms. How we process data is described in the privacy policy.
2. The service
- The game is free. It has no ads and no payments.
- The agreement to use the game is made when you first open the game, for an indefinite period. You can end it at any time: delete your account (Profile → Your data → “Delete account”) or simply stop playing.
- The game runs in an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and site storage (localStorage) enabled. Leaderboards and publishing tracks need an internet connection. Notifications and passkeys work if your browser supports them.
3. Your account
- Your account is created automatically, with a random nickname. You stay signed in with a token stored on your device; you can also add a passkey and save recovery codes.
- Look after your device and recovery codes. We don’t know who you are, so if you lose your device without a passkey or codes, we may be unable to restore your account.
- One person shouldn’t use several accounts to improve their leaderboard positions.
4. Fair play
You must not:
- cheat — use bots or scripts, modify the game, fake replays or submit results in any way other than by playing normally;
- get around limits, attack the server or put excessive load on it;
- use nicknames or track names that are unlawful, offensive, vulgar, hateful, impersonate others, contain other people’s personal data or advertise something.
If these rules are broken, we may change a nickname (e.g. to a random one), remove a result or a track, and in serious or repeated cases block or delete the account. We act in proportion to the breach. As we don’t know your email address, we usually can’t notify you separately. If you disagree with our decision, write to us and we will review it.
5. Reporting content
If a nickname or a track breaks the law or these terms, write to contact@onetouchgp.com. Give the nickname or track code, where you saw it and why you think it isn’t allowed. This address is also the point of contact for users and authorities on content in the game. We handle reports without undue delay and reply to the address they came from.
6. Player content
- A track you publish (its name and shape) remains yours. By publishing it, you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display and share it in the game — with other players, in leaderboards, in links and on result cards — for as long as the track is published.
- If you delete your account, your published tracks stay in the game without an author, because other players may have raced them and hold results on them; the licence continues. You can ask us by email to remove a track, giving its code.
- Only publish tracks and names you have the rights to and that don’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
- Your nickname, helmet, flag and results are publicly visible in leaderboards.
7. The game and licences
The game (code, graphics, tracks, names) is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own entertainment under these terms. The game uses data and software made available under open licences — see the Licences page. Tracks are inspired by real circuits but have fictional names; the game is not affiliated with Formula 1, circuit owners or race organisers.
8. Availability and liability
- We provide the game as it is, without any warranty of uninterrupted operation. There may be outages, bugs and changes — the game is still being developed.
- We may change tracks and the rules of leaderboards and seasons, end seasons, and shut the game down. We will announce a planned shutdown in advance on the game’s website.
- Data stored only on your device (e.g. tracks from the editor, statistics) may disappear if your browser clears the site data; we have no copy of it.
- We don’t exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law, or your rights as a consumer.
9. Complaints
If the game doesn’t work as these terms describe, write to contact@onetouchgp.com: what happened, when, and on which device. We will reply within 14 days. As a consumer you can also get free help from a consumer advice body in your country.
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for good reasons, such as changes in the law, new game features or the need to protect players. The new version will appear at this address at least 7 days before it takes effect, with its effective date at the top — unless the change is required by law or for security and must apply sooner. If you don’t agree with a change, you can delete your account at any time.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory laws of your country. Disputes are decided by the court that has jurisdiction under the general rules.
12. Contact
For anything about the game: contact@onetouchgp.com.
The Polish version (Regulamin) is the binding one; this English version is a translation.
